Mr. Saeed Maissara graduated at Khartoum University, Sudan as a medical scientist in the field of clinical chemistry 1999. He worked as a tutor at the faculty of medical laboratory sciences, Khartoum University Sudan for seven years, and as a senior medical scientist at the central national Maternity Hospital in Omdurman, Sudan. He worked as a consultant for Sabah association for childcare and protection, in Khartoum Sudan, and for 5 years he was a consultant worked for the HIV-AIDS unit which is a socio-medical program to empower and support pregnant women with HIV. For political reasons he left Sudan in 2010 to Germany where he asked for asylum. Since then he started to be active in the field of refugees and migrants’ rights, migrants' and refugees’ self- organisation, migrants' and refugees’ self-empowerment and economy & migrants' rights.
He is the founder, in 2011, of the German Sudanese Association for development G.S.A.D, as well as he is the founder, in 2015, of UMBAJA e. V. which is an association works in the field of refugees and migrant’s empowerment.
Dr. Aamir Dean gained his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Computational Mechanics) at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany in 2017 with distinction (summa cum laude). Currently, he is leading the research group 'Fatigue' at the Institute of Structural Analysis of the Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. The group consists of four researchers (Ph.D. students) and multiple student assistants (B.Sc. and M.Sc. students) working on different research projects and topics.
Dr. Dean was awarded multiple prizes during his career. In his recent roles, the tasks have often been quite multifaceted from supervising research and student assistants, managing projects, pursuing research funding, writing publications and technical reports, conducting academic and industrial collaborations, to teaching duties. He has an open mindset and an inquisitive personality backed by 10 years of experience in multi-cultural and multi-lingual environments. Through this experience, he developed excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Mr. Ali Gadein has an M.Sc. in Geomatics from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, Germany in 2018. He is a married father of one son. Mr. Gadein gained his B.Sc. in Surveying Engineering at the University of Khartoum, Sudan in 2011. Currently, Mr. Gadein works as a Quality Engineer for Sapcorda Services GmbH, Hannover, Germany. in the past he was a Surveying Engineer in Dams Implementation Unit, Ministry of Electricity and Water Resources, Sudan, and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Khartoum, Sudan.
He has very good Computer skills including Microsoft Office, GIS/topo software& IDE, Programming languages, Open source Softwires & Libraries and Databases SQL.
